Tools and Techniques of Functional and Comparative Genomics
The connecting link of genomic research with industry, agriculture and medicine stands on the expertise of the researcher in tools and techniques of genomics at applied level. Considering the huge investment for the infrastructure and also the lack of specific technical experts, our universities and research organizations are unable, to cope with the present need of genomic research. The objective of the course is to introduce all the major tools and to provide on-hand experience in techniques that are essential in functional and comparative genomics study to teachers, scientists, researchers and students at an applied level.
