I am very happy that we are in the seventh year of our engineering college. I am also happy that we are one among the first new generation engineering colleges that have come up in Kerala after the state liberalised education in the year 2000.

SCMS GROUP has stood for quality professional education all through its existence from 1976 to date. For us, providing education is a noble mission where the only motive is excellence. Right from the beginning we have been doing all that is possible to achieve this objective.

We do not have an affluent business group or a cash rich community to support us.

The SCMS School of Engineering & Technology (SSET), set up in the year 2001, has already established its reputation by providing quality education. Our dream is to mould ‘World Class Professionals’ to meet the present and future challenges in business and industry.

We have created an excellent academic ambience in the campus by providing all infrastructural facilities with state-of-the-art Technology and a team of committed and dedicated teachers. In our Pursuit of Excellence, we focus on our customers (Internal & External) with continuous improvement in all our activities and with total involvement of our stakeholders.

Since last academic year we are offering  MCA programme also in our Campus. This three year post graduate programme is affiliated to MG University but goes much beyond University syllabus and offers the latest technology inputs to the students. 

I extend a hearty welcome to all the prospective students and parents to our campus to see the facilities and experience the learning environment before selecting the college for their Engineering and MCA Education.
