“Center for Research on Indian Markets”
(CRIM) a research sub-center created under
the SCMS Research Cell endeavors to undertake
quality research work on the Indian Market. The
cell intends to take up field and desk research
at micro and macro levels and prepare fact- founded
studies/reports .
The Objective of the Center for Indian Markets
is to emerge as a treasury of both Intellectual
and Data reserve, subserving the various factions
of the society viz. Business units at individual
and corporate level, marketers, various intermediaries,
consumers, academicians etc. It intends to collect,
collate, analyze and communicate both internally
and externally, facts and information in appropriate
forms including well structured market study
reports covering the various dimensions of the
Indian market. |
Methodology
Different study groups are formed to take care
of the multidimensional facets of the Indian market
in a progressive manner and to undertake specific
research work involving studies based on primary
and secondary data covering Investments &
International Business, Emerging Trends in Indian
Markets, Innovations in Indian Markets, Best Industry
Practices in India and any other area of relevance.
In the initial stage an ‘Industry
Scan’ is carried out, issues of concurrent
relevance are identified under different industry
sectors like Health Care, Banking, Capital Market
etc. and research initiated. |
