Co-Curricular Activities

The students are given freedom to organise meetings, seminars, symposia, workshops and even an annual intellectual meet by inviting students from several other business schools.  They are provided all facilities including financial support by the management so as to encourage maximum participation. They also organise a variety of competitions and quiz programmes to support the formal learning. In addition they have formed forums like Management Syndicate, Finance Forum, Marketing Grid, IT Forum, Ad Club etc. to organise activities in close cooperation with industry managements.

 

(a)   Inter-Departmental Competitions:

The School recognizes that experiential learning enriches the educational and social development of the students. In line with this,  it is the School’s intention to  provide  the platform to each student to express, nurture and further develop  the talents. Each student gets the opportunity  to participate in a broad spectrum of activities as part of  his academic programme  primarily focusing on the development of the “Complete Person”. Emphasis shall be given to the ideals of intellectual challenge, communication skills, creativity and caring for one another in a network of teams.

TARANG

'Tarang' is the annual cultural meet organized by the students of SCMS. Students from a large number of professional institutions participate in this meet. In addition to taking part in the various competitions, the participants get an opportunity lo interact with their peers hailing from diverse cultural backgrounds. Several companies of repute support 'Tarang' through their patronage and sponsorship.
