| Student Customer Service Centre (SCSC) |
| This is a golden opportunity provided by SIBB-R&D for the student community of Universities and Research Organisations. Since a project work for a period of three months will be inevitable for the fulfillment of their graduate and postgraduate courses, we invite students to our well-equipped laboratories for doing their project work. We will give problems related to their academic curriculum and interest and provide all the necessary infrastructure for completing their work successfully. Those who are interested can register their name at our office. |

| Professional Training Centre (PTC) |
| The major issue that the students are facing today in higher education is the lack of properly trained professionals for teaching and guiding the advanced level subjects in Biological Sciences. The main reason for this lacunae is that we do not have well equipped research centres for providing efficient training for teachers and scientists. In order to overcome this, SIBB-R&D has decided to conduct regular training programme during the month of August, every year for teachers, research fellows and other scientific personnel for a period of twenty days. We will provide excellent facilities for them to carry out all molecular biology experiments. |

| Ph.D Programme |
| As a research centre, SIBB-R&D has all facilities required for research leading to Ph.D in Agricultual Genomics, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Industrial Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Neurobiology and Nanobiotechnology. However, facilities will be offered to candidates only on the basis of a screening test and interview. Those researchers who have qualified NET - UGC/CSIR/ICAR/ICMR are exempted from screening test. |
