THE MASTER OF MARKETING COMMUNICATION


is based on research, and an awareness of professional directions and practice. Added to this is our substantial experience in teaching local and international students at postgraduate levels.

The course will benefit people in middle management in marketing; public relations; advertising; or related industries, services and government positions. It will also help people who are seeking a career in these fields. It has been designed specifically to provide a leading-edge education in the field of marketing communication.


Flexible study options

Our study options are designed to help you meet the demands of your work and other commitments. They include:

On-campus classes, with online web support and
Study from home with materials in print, coupled with online web support.

The course is also offered in full-time or part-time mode generally with classes in the evenings. You will need to have access to medium-to-high level computer hardware.


Admission requirements

Admission is normally on the basis of the completion of one of the following:

a four-year undergraduate degree in a relevant field or
an Honours degree or
a three-year undergraduate degree with at least two years' of relevant work experience; or
a graduate diploma in a relevant field; or
academic qualifications deemed to be equivalent by the University's Admissions Committee; or
various combinations of study, paid/unpaid work experience and life experience as formalty set out in the University's Policy Advice on RPL for Applicants.

Your course of study will be finalised after an interview with the Program Director.


What subjects will I study?

Each subject focuses on aspects of the challenges in the profession, and completion of all subjects will give you an advanced understanding of Marketing Communication.


What will this course cost?

In 2003, the fees for Australian students will be $1,400 per subject. An application form can be downloaded from the website.
